The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

I don't know who this is but the calls have to stop. 7 or 8 a day.

Repeated unsolicited calls from these people to my husband's office and our home. We want these calls to stop. I asked the guy calling today where he got this number from. He said "from the government", the FCC. I asked 3 times, "the FCC gave you this number?" Then he said no, not the FCC, the SEC-- Southeast Conference, and hung up.

This very indian sounding man from this number indicated he was calling from a law firm (name that I couldn't understand) and that they were calling to collect on the debt from an advance that I didn't pay. Well, first of all, he had my name. Second of all, I never took an advance. I indicated that I hadn't and oculd he please give the details as I was curious as to how this could possibly be. I also indicated that I was affiliated with the court system and could easily check what he was talking about. I wanted the name again, the phone number, address and all the details in writing provided to me. He began to fumble and spitter and sputter. I didn't let up. He ended the call by saying well ok then, you didn't!. It is a scam and absolutely illegal.
